Repost a Job (Training)
If this your first time reading this training guide, open 'How to Repost a Job' step by step guide to view alongside this training guide.
There is functionality to repost a job to new members of staff when the job hasn't been accepted. A user can cancel a job that they have accepted or that was previously assigned to them. These cancelled jobs can be reposted again to other users.
Permissions:
The permissions required are Post a Job with the ability to Post to Bank and/or Post to Agency and/or Post to Permanent. Automatic Repost permission can be configured in the unit settings.
Process Flow:
Once a posted or assigned job is cancelled by a user, the job can be reposted. This reposted job will no longer be visible by the user who cancelled the same job previously.
In the jobs table via the 'Admin View' (will only be available if you have the correct permissions), you can view the cancelled job under the status, declined or cancelled (depending on whether the job was posted or assigned).
You can click on the Job ID next to these jobs, and there is functionality to post to permanent/bank/agency. There is a feature in the unit settings to enable auto repost for cancelled jobs (for both assigned and posted jobs). If this setting is enabled, once the user cancels a shift, it will be automatically reposted to the other users who the job was originally posted to, however, it will not be reposted to the user who cancelled the shift.
Required Knowledge:
Repost Cancelled Jobs - This functionality is available in the info section of the unit settings where you can enable to repost of posted and/or assigned jobs as required.
Post to Permanent/Bank/Agency - This functionality is available when a cancelled job is opened using the Job ID link and is driven by the user's permissions.
